FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What makes Enspire Academy different from other public speaking training centers?
Here at Enspire Academy, we recognize and value the ideology that every speaker is unique. Instead of imposing a cookie-cutter approach and a random set of guidelines and rules, our curriculum focuses on developing the inner speaker within each of us. Our systematic process identifies the true style and hones the skills by boosting confidence.
How is a typical class conducted?
All our classes are fun and interactive. Group classes meet weekly during the academic year and bi-weekly in Summer where we meet in a small group setting. Classes range from an hour to an hour and a half, depending on the level of the program.
My child is shy and nervous about speaking in front of people. How can you help?
In today’s day and age, public speaking engulfs more than the average speech you see on TedTalk. Instead, it’s the skill of holding your end of a conversation or asking the right questions, or even simply reading the room appropriately. Through our programs, those nervous butterflies disappear faster than you imagine.
What age do you recommend starting the classes and why?
Our youth program is recommended for students in 6th grade and above. With over 20 years of experience in training youth on public speaking skills, we have identified that the optimal age to start public speaking classes is around 11 years and above. At this age will help students have the maturity to develop their true style of speaking, understand the techniques and incorporate the strategies in our curriculum. Else, they end up "memorizing and imitating" which is not the right way of public speaking.
I do not live in New Jersey but I am still interested in this program. What should I do?
No worries! We do offer group classes over Zoom video conferencing! We have students from Arizona, California, Chicago, Delaware, Minneapolis, New York, Michigan, Texas, Virginia, and other countries outside the USA, for whom we make a conscious effort to accommodate differing time zones and schedules.
How do you decide which level my child is in?
At Enspire Academy, we believe in doing things the right way. Our orientation meeting includes a FREE assessment that evaluates the attitudes, beliefs, and skill set of your child in a non-intimidating and non-judgmental manner. After detailed analysis, your child is placed with the right level and the right group of students.
My child does not want to join but as a parent, I know he/she needs to improve. How can you help?
Fear of the unknown is not uncommon. That’s why we offer the FREE orientation meeting geared towards helping youth understand the need for training and provide accurate details about our program. This helps youth become more open in joining our programs.
I am impressed with your program and would love to enroll my child however, I would like to start with level 1 and then see how my child does and proceed with the rest of the levels and payment. Is this a possibility?
We do believe in your opinion of your child and where they should go. But we do offer a free assessment which is going to give us a holistic view of your child's strengths and weaknesses. To see how much he or she can be challenged.
I understand that classes are starting soon and the importance of my child attending on a regular basis to reap the benefits of the program. However, we will be away for 3 weeks on vacation. How can she/he make up those classes?
That is no problem! We understand the importance of spending time with family. Please inform us prior to taking your trip so that we can plan and schedule compensation for classes missed so that your child can make them up. Upon your return from vacation.
I like your structured approach but I am new to Enspire Academy and would prefer a free trial before registering my child.
We would love to offer you a free trial class however, that would then force us to randomly group the classes and would therefore affect the results. We believe in a systematic approach to guarantee success which has worked for 20 years.
Can you explain the difference between “tracks” and “levels”?
-
Our step-by-step leadership curriculum 6 levels that will help every student to transform into a leader. Out of these 6 levels, the first three levels can be taken in 3 different speeds which we refer to as tracks.
-
Each track will contain the same coursework and materials. However, the speed at which that material will be taught will be slower or accelerated depending on the track.
-
Speed 1 = Track 1 (where a student takes one level at a time so they can internalize the lesson in the best possible manner)
-
Speed 2 = Track 2 (Accelerated track where a student completes levels 1 and 2 in 16 hours of training and then moves on to level 3 and completes another 16 hours of training
-
Speed 3 = Track 3 (Super accelerated track where students completed levels 1, 2, and 3 in 25 hours of training.)
I feel my child would benefit immensely from your program. Why won’t you start coaching even though they are 9?
With over 20 years of experience in training youth on public speaking skills, we have identified that the optimal age to start public speaking classes is around 11 years and above. Starting the training at this age will help students have the maturity to develop their true style of speaking, understand the techniques and incorporate the strategies in our curriculum. Else, they end up "memorizing and imitating" which is not the right way of public speaking.

All our Edison students are either taking classes at Plainsboro or Virtual lessons.
Do you have a registration fee? If so, how long is it valid?
Yes, there is a registration fee. It is a one-time fee and holds good for the entire time the child spends at Enspire Academy. Paying the registration fee will ensure that the student's application is pooled in for the grouping process.
Are there any options for installments for payment or is it one lump sum?
Based on the financial need of the client, our billing team would be willing to work with you to create an installment plan on a need basis.
What is your refund policy?
So far every student has enjoyed the Enspire process so much that they not only completed the level they started but completed most of our curriculum. However, we do have a refund policy for students who are not able to continue the program due to unforeseen circumstances. Please refer the clause 9 of our rules and regulations.
